Somalia: U.S.$2 Million Allocated for Urgent Response to Cholera Outbreak in Somalia

[OCHA] Mogadishu, 27 May 2024 – The Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths has allocated US$2 million from the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) for an urgent response to the cholera outbreak in Somalia. According to the World Health Organization, more than 10,000 cases and 120 deaths have been reported in seven states across the country since January.
