Denmark’s national food authority has ordered a recall of three flavours of Buldak spicy instant noodles manufactured by Samyang Foods, warning they could poison consumers because they are so hot. Samyang Foods said it was the first time the company’s products had been recalled because they were deemed too hot, and added that it would work to better understand local regulations in export markets. But honestly, how bad could they be? We stocked up on full-cream milk and plucked four brave taste testers from Guardian Australia’s newsroom to try the noodles deemed too dangerous for Denmark.
