Africa: Ovarian Cancer Costs Nations Over $70 Billion Yearly, Study Shows

[World Ovarian Cancer Coalition] The World Ovarian Cancer Coalition (the Coalition) announced today the publication of a first-of-its-kind study that reveals the major socioeconomic burden ovarian cancer has on communities around the world. Co-authored with the research institute RTI International, the study reveals the significant costs and defines actions needed to improve survival and quality of life for ovarian cancer patients and their caregivers.
