- More disappointment for team that once dominated Tour
Ineos Grenadiers suffered another near-miss in the Tour de France after Victor Campenaerts, of Lotto Dstny, outsprinted the British team’s former world champion, Michal Kwiatkowski, to win stage 18 in Barcelonette.
Kwiatkowski, winner of Tour stages in 2020 and 2023, took third from a three rider breakaway, and was out-foxed by breakaway specialist Campenaerts, one the peloton’s classic baroudeurs.
